Jason Statham may play a similar type of character in most of his movies, but he plays that role better than just about anyone. Since his breakout in Guy Ritchie’s 1998 film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," Statham has carved out a solid career as a tough, straight-talking action star, most recently in the action flick "A Working Man".
He’s a familiar face in big franchises like "Fast and Furious" and "The Expendables," but his strongest work often shows up in smaller, standalone films that give him more room to do his thing. Even when sticking to his usual action-focused roles, he’s managed to dip into crime dramas and action comedies as well. And somehow he still remains his imposing self.
