5.6 magnitude earthquake strikes Nepal, tremors felt in north India

NEW DELHI: A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck western Nepal on MOnday, causing strong tremors in parts of northern India, according to the National Centre for Seismology.

The earthquake's epicenter was located 233 kilometers north of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, India.
