Another Covid booster vaccine could be rolled out across England as soon as next week, it has been reported, meaning people will have received four doses. The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation last month recommended extra boosters for over-75s.
Third doses of the jab started rolling out more than six months ago. And former health secretary Jeremy Hunt has called for “more oomph on fourth jabs”, the Mirror reports.
An NHS England spokesman said: “The NHS will be vaccinating eligible people with a spring dose six months after their first booster, starting later this month for the small number of people eligible before April.”
