To no surprise, the San Francisco 49ers might be a cheat code in the new edition of Madden. As different position ratings begin to surface, one thing is clear — the 49ers will be loaded in Madden 25.
After cover star and 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey joined the 99 club with a top rating of 99 overall, George Kittle notched a high rating in the upcoming video game.
Trailing only Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Kittle is listed at 97 overall in the game. Kittle joined Kelce, Mark Andrews, T.J. Hockenson and David Njoku as tight ends with a 90 or better rating in Madden 25.

Madden 25 will be the third straight year Kittle has landed a 97 rating in the game. Madden 21 is the only year Kittle earned a higher rating with a 98 overall. Kittle has been a 90 or better since his third season in 2020.
Kittle is coming off a First-Team AP All-Pro season with 1020 yards receiving to go along with six touchdowns in 16 games for the 49ers.
Madden 25 is set to release on August 17.
