49ers’ Deebo Samuel Responds to Micah Parsons’s Comments With Warning of His Own

The rivalry between the 49ers and Cowboys only intensified this week, as San Francisco blew Dallas out on Sunday Night Football. Entering that game, though, both sides were clearly fired up, as George Kittle wore a shirt that said “F— Dallas” while playing in the game.

After seeing Kittle’s shirt, Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons sent a message to the 49ers, saying that San Francisco made the game “more personal than it had to be” and that they shouldn’t want to play Dallas again.

“If we see them again, just trust,” Parsons said. “And we gonna put it just like that. I ain’t gonna put too much on it.”

However, Parsons’s comments did not scare the 49ers, but instead seemed to fire them up more. While appearing on Up and Adams, wide receiver Deebo Samuel explained that Dallas should be scared about potentially seeing the 49ers in the playoffs.

“It was already personal before the game started, and now, 42–10, I don’t think you want to see us again, it might be a little bit worse,” Samuel said.

While the 49ers and Cowboys have a long history dating back to the 1990s, San Francisco has owned the rivalry of late. Since 2021, the teams have played three times, including twice in the playoffs, and the 49ers have won all three matchups.

Although the teams are not set to meet again this year, there is a good chance that they play each other in the playoffs for a third straight season, assuming both make it that far. That game would for sure mean more to the players than any of their matchups to date.
