49ers, Browns Get Heated as Near-Massive Fight Breaks Out Before Game

Things got tense between the 49ers and Browns ahead of their Week 6 matchup. During pregame warmups, there was an on-field incident which escalated fairly quickly it seemed. Cleveland appeared to be near San Francisco’s sideline and numerous players from both sides were shoving each other.

Here’s a look at the initial incident, which Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury caught on video.

The fight was apparently broken up by 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams, and as Inman highlighted, wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was one player who was pulled away from the mix and “animated” afterward, per the breakdown of the incident.
