Cats have a strange way of making themselves part of every situation, whether anyone invited them or not. A perfectly good bed can be ignored in favor of a box, an empty shelf can become a private residence, and a closed bathroom door can apparently turn into a matter of urgent public concern. They squeeze into spaces that seem physically impossible, appear whenever food is involved, and have an uncanny ability to make their humans feel like they’re the ones being tolerated.
The Instagram page 'Meow Is Life' collects plenty of these moments, from cats wedged into questionable hiding spots and treating household objects as personal property to demanding snacks with absolutely no regard for how recently they were fed. There are also plenty of those oddly specific situations anyone who lives with a cat will recognize immediately, because somehow, cats have a talent for making completely normal household behavior look faintly unhinged.
