Recent clashes between Israeli forces and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants in Lebanon have resulted in forty-seven individuals being taken to hospitals for treatment. The incidents occurred on Wednesday, prompting swift medical response to attend to the wounded.
Ziv Medical Center, located in Safed, northern Israel, reported treating 38 injured individuals who were transported via helicopters and military ambulances. Among them, three were in serious condition. Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa attended to four patients, while Rabin Medical Center's Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva treated five individuals.
Although the hospitals did not specify the identities of the injured, Beilinson Hospital mentioned that the wounded were related to the 'incident in Lebanon.' Ziv and Rambam hospitals confirmed treating the injured following the Israeli Defense Forces' engagement with Hezbollah militants.
Earlier reports from the Israeli military confirmed the tragic loss of eight soldiers in combat in Lebanon. Hezbollah also acknowledged clashes with Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.
