Approximately 400 tons of food aid are set to reach Gaza by ship in the upcoming days, as confirmed by the non-governmental organization overseeing the distribution. The aid is designated for individuals residing in the northern region of the strip, as stated by a representative from World Central Kitchen.
The Open Arms, a salvage vessel that recently delivered aid to Gaza, is currently towing a barge to transport the supplies. Additionally, the Jennifer, a cargo vessel, is also en route with a shipment of aid onboard, according to the organization.
World Central Kitchen further disclosed that the vessels are equipped with machinery aimed at expediting the unloading process. Moreover, the aid delivery includes dates generously provided by the United Arab Emirates specifically for Palestinians observing Ramadan.
