Week Six of the NFL regular season was a week off for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nevertheless, there were plenty of interesting things that happened that matter to Pittsburgh as they start preparations for next week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Ravens get big win
Baltimore went out to London and got a big win over the Tennessee Titans to temporarily take over the lead in the AFC North. This means the Steelers will be chasing them until the Ravens get to their bye week and must keep pace.
The Rams got Cooper Kupp back
The Rams aren’t a great football team but with how inconsistent the Steelers secondary has been playing, the fact Los Angeles has wide receiver Cooper Kupp back is worrisome.
The Browns win just confuses things further
Somehow the Browns with a third-string quarterback found a way to beat the 49ers. The same 49ers team that beat the breaks off the Steelers in Week One. Now the Browns have the same record as the Steelers and we really aren’t sure just how good or bad the Steelers are.
The Bengals are getting healthy
Two weeks in a row now we’ve seen the Cincinnati Bengals get better and better and this is bad news for the rest of the AFC North. Quarterback Joe Burrow looks healthy and when he is, that offense is scary. The Bengals are now 3-3 and well within striking distance of the AFC North lead.
