Four-star offensive tackle recruit JacQawn McRoy has named his top 10 schools. The 6-foot-8, 350-pound offensive tackle is one of the biggest recruits in the junior class.
McRoy ranks Georgia, Tennessee, Oregon, Ole Miss, Miami, LSU, Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn and Florida as his top schools at the moment.
McRoy plays high school football for Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama. Pinson is located just outside of Birmingham.
McRoy is the No. 339 recruit in the class of 2024. The huge offensive tackle is the No. 25 player at his position and No. 21 player in Alabama.
The four-star offensive tackle has scholarship offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, UAB, Tennessee and more. The Clay-Chalkville star recently visited Auburn, Tennessee and Arkansas.
McRoy is working on his footwork and is more than just a big body. He also plays high school basketball, where he is often a mismatch for smaller opponents.
Kirby Smart and Georgia football have 10 commitments in the class of 2024. Georgia has the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2024 cycle and there’s a good chance the Bulldogs will hold on to the top class.
Due to McRoy’s size, players will often try to beat him with speed and quickness, but McRoy has good agility.
