The four-star safety Michael Daugherty has committed to the LSU Tigers football program. Daugherty plays high school football for Grayson in Loganville, Georgia.
Michael Daugherty and Grayson High School went on to win the 7A State Championship in 2020. The Rams gave up only 20 points over their final six games. Grayson was among the top teams in the state again in 2021, but fell in the state semifinals.
Daugherty is 6-foot-1 and weighs 180 pounds. He committed to LSU over Georgia, Auburn, USC, Oregon, UNC, Kentucky, and Louisville.
The Grayson High School star is ranked as the No. 124 recruit in the class of 2023. He’s the No. 9 safety in the country and the No. 12 player in Georgia.
