CHANDIGARH: Senior India cager Raspreet Sidhu led from the front to help Delhi Divas avenge their pool stage loss to Kerala Stars, and pocket the first round with a commanding 15-7 win over the defending champions at the ongoing 3BL women's league in Mohali on Wednesday.
The Delhi side dominated the proceedings right from the start, and didn't allow any inroads for Stephy Nixon's girls to make a comeback throughout the contest. Despite an ankle injury to Tavleen Bhandal, Delhi maintained its momentum and kept increasing its lead in the match.
