Coronavirus cases have fallen across the North East - but there are still some areas that are still seeing an increase.
Despite a high number of cases, every authority in the North East has seen a drop including Sunderland which has seen the biggest reduction of all with a drop of 30.3%.
However, 34 areas across the region are still seeing sharp increases including Belmont and Carrville which has seen a 40.7% hike in cases.

Also experiencing high increases are Haydon Bridge and Allendale with 36.7% and College and Park West with 32.8%.
It comes after Plan B restrictions were lifted in England on January 27, with face coverings no longer a legal requirement in public spaces or on public transport.

Newton Aycliffe North- 119 total cases up by 19 (19.0%)
Springwell and Usworth- 83 total cases up by 12 (16.9%)
Aykley Heads, Neville's Cross, and Langley Moor- 333 total cases up by 47 (16.4%)
Whitley Bay Promenade- 142 total cases up by 19 (15.4%)
Dunston Hill- 82 total cases up by 10 (13.9%)
Tudhoe Grange- 83 total cases up by 9 (12.2%)
Sherburn and West Rainton- 144 total cases up by 15 (11.6%)
