329 doc posts for superspeciality wing approved

JAIPUR: Health minister Parsadi Lal Meena on Thursday said that 329 posts of superspeciality wing in medical colleges of the state have been approved.

He said that 32 posts for Jodhpur, 23 posts for Bikaner, 18 posts for Ajmer, 30 posts for Kota, 25 for Udaipur and for Jaipur 21 posts of professors, associate professors, assistant professors and senior residents have been approved. The health department has approved 180 posts for superspeciality wings in Bhilwara, Barmer, Sikar,Dungarpur, Pali and Churu.

Besides, for 18 new nursing colleges announced in the state budget, the health department has approved Rs400 crore for building of nursing colleges and 836 posts have been approved for nursing colleges.

Ghee seized: Food safety officers of directorate of food safety seized 1,770 litres of ghee from Messer’s Goyal Marketing in Deena Nathji Ki Gali after a sample of the ghee allegedly failed quality test and it was found “unsafe” for human consumption. An official said, ghee was being sold with the brand name “Mother choice”, which was produced by a firm in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, said Dr CL Meena, joint commissioner of food safety at health department.

He said that on the packet of the ghee, the producer has mentioned “high profile A2 cow ghee and it had a Agmark on it. tnn
