The 2022 NFL season is into Week 2, after the first game of the slate on Thursday.
The second week will end, however, with an intriguing game: The Minnesota Vikings will visit the Philadelphia Eagles — playing this Monday at 8:30 PM ET on ABC and ESPN+. Two teams that looked really good in the first regular-season games of the season will match up in primetime, a pair of teams with balanced offenses and defenses with potential to be really good all year.
So why should you watch this game? Let’s get into that right away and dive into the three reasons to watch:
1
A.J. Brown and Justin Jefferson are playing
Brown went off in his first game as an Eagle with 10 catches and 155 yards.

Jefferson caught nine passes for 184 and two touchdowns in Week 1.

Should be a lot of fun to watch those two catch footballs!

It's two possible playoff teams facing off
Is it too early to call it a matchup between playoff teams? Yes.
But the Vikings and Eagles both looked the part in Week 1 in their respective games. Plus, Philly plays in a division where there isn’t a ton of top competition (sorry, Commanders fans, and the Cowboys will be without Dak Prescott for a few games. The Giants? We’ll see).
The Vikings have the rebuilding Lions and Bears, and we’ll see about the Packers after a rough Week 1.

Jalen Hurts is such a joy to watch
I mean, just look at this play:

Can’t wait to see what he does in his first home game of the year.
