It’s already February, and Tubi is once again stacking its library with fresh arrivals. While there’s plenty to choose from, a select few stand out as essential viewing for your streaming cravings. If I were you, these are the titles I’d start with to kick off the month.
Park Chan-wook’s "Oldboy" remains a benchmark for revenge cinema, following a man abruptly released after years of unexplained imprisonment. For something equally intense but more melancholic, the sun-drenched "Call Me By Your Name" traces a fleeting summer romance with a raw, emotional intensity that will undoubtedly bring tears to your eyes.
Finally, Gaspar Noé’s "Climax" drops a dance troupe into a night that spirals out of control after a bowl of punch is spiked. It’s a psychological thriller that shifts a standard rehearsal into something much, much crazier. Read on to find out more about the movies on Tubi you should check out first.
'Oldboy'
After being kidnapped and held captive for 15 years without explanation, Oh Dae-su (Choi Min-sik) is suddenly released back into the world with money, clean clothes, and one mission. He's got to figure out why this happened to him.
As he searches for answers, he crosses paths with a young sushi chef named Mi-do (Kang Hye-jung), who offers him compassion while this lost man struggles to adjust to a life that moved on without him. His investigation eventually points him toward a mysterious figure who wants to orchestrate the beginning of Dae-su’s unraveling. And in the end, he may end up finding answers that are better left untouched.

'Call Me By Your Name'
In the Italian countryside of the early 1980s, 17-year-old Elio (Timothée Chalamet) spends the summer cycling around the area and hanging out with friends. That's until graduate student Oliver (Armie Hammer) arrives to work with Elio's father. Sparks immediately fly, and Elio realizes he's enamored with the charismatic American.
Romance blossoms between the pair as Elio finds himself stuck between "normal" teen chasing his childhood friend and wanting a future with Oliver. But love has a way of hurting as much as it heals, and it seems the pair are destined to remain apart.

'Climax'
In an empty school building, a dance troupe gathers to rehearse what should be a tightly choreographed performance. But that isn't to be, as the entirety of the dancers end up drinking from the celebratory sangria. Turns out someone spiked it with a powerful hallucinogen, and the night's about to get extremely long.
This isn't your typical movie with a traditional narrative, but you'll be along for every second of the ride from start to finish with this dive into insanity.
