3 new to Paramount+ shows you need to binge-watch this weekend (April 17-19)

Paramount+ logo on a blue purple smoke background.

Paramount+ has tons of options for your weekend binge-watch. The streaming service constantly adds new shows or new episodes; it just added 147 new movies and shows on April 1. These aren't just new original shows, either; the streamer also adds new shows from Paramount's networks, like CBS, as well as coproductions with international studios.

This weekend, I've got three shows worth watching in one sitting. Part 1 of "Tyler Perry's Divorced Sistas" was a big hit for BET+, but that streaming service is no more. So now, you can watch the first part and new episodes, exclusively on Paramount+. If that's not your speed, "Marshals" is also now deep into its ongoing first season, and if you liked "Yellowstone," you'll want to check out this latest spin-off. Finally, college basketball may be over for now, but "Made for March" will still give you your fix. This docuseries chronicles a pair of teams, one of which made it all the way to the national championship game.

So, here are the three new to Paramount+ shows you need to binge-watch this weekend. If you need more recommendations, check out everything coming to Paramount+ in April 2026 for more options.

'Tyler Perry's Divorced Sistas' season 1

Genre: Comedy-drama series

What's it about? Rasheda (LeToya Luckett), Geneva (Khadeen Indréa), Naomi (Porscha Coleman), Tiffany (Briana Price), and Bridgette (Jennifer Sears) are all friends, and they're all going through relationship problems. Part 2 of season 1 escalates the drama when long-simmering tensions erupt, causing relationships to fracture.

Why you should watch it: You might not have seen the first half of "Divorced Sistas" season 1 because it was on BET+. But now that it's on Paramount+, you can binge all of part 1 and the first two episodes of part 2.

'Marshals'

Genre: Neo-Western drama series

What's it about? "Marshals" stars "Yellowstone" actor Luke Grimes. He's reprising his role as Kayce Dutton in this hybrid sequel/spin-off, which follows the former U.S. Navy SEAL and rancher as he joins a specialized group of U.S. Marshals tasked with protecting the Montana wilderness.

Why you should watch it: Taylor Sheridan is sitting out this new "Yellowstone" spin-off, but many familiar faces are returning. Gil Birmingham, Mo Brings Plenty and Brecken Merrill all reprise their roles as Thomas Rainwater, Mo and Tate Dutton.

Stream the first seven episodes of "Marshals" on Paramount+ now (episode 8 arrives April 19)

'Made for March'

Genre: Sports docuseries

What's it about? "Made for March" follows the Kansas Jayhawks and Michigan Wolverines as they make their way through the 2025-2026 regular season and into March Madness. Will either win out in March Madness? You'll have to watch to find out.

Why you should watch it: Spoiler alert: Michigan did win the national championship. So by sheer luck, this documentary gives you a behind-the-scenes look at a team destined to win it all. Don't miss it.

Stream the first three episodes of "Made for March" on Paramount+ now and episode 4 on April 18
