Paramount+ is the perfect place to craft your next movie marathon. The streaming service is constantly adding new movies, often more than 100 a month. It's not just classic movies either; as a prominent Hollywood studio, Paramount delivers new theatrical releases to the streaming service regularly.

With so many movies to choose from, though, it can be tough to know where to start. So I've looked through everything new to Paramount+ in February 2026, and I've found the three movies that you need to watch over this weekend. There's a pair of 2025 movies for wildly different audiences: one for kids and one that's definitely adults only. To cap things off, I'm recommending you check out "The Score," an enjoyable heist thriller that has a murderer's row of acting legends.

So let's dive in. Here are the three new to Paramount+ movies you need to be streaming this weekend.

'The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants' (2025)

Genre: Animated comedy

What's it about? Iconic animated seadweller SpongeBob Squarepants unintentionally summons the ghostly swashbuckler, The Flying Dutchman. The poltergeist pirate invites SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick Star to join the Dutchman's crew with the ulterior motive of swapping souls with the Krusty Krab fry cook, but Mr. Krabs, Squidward Tentacles and Gary the Snail are hot on the trail to rescue the square sea sponge.

Why you should watch it: If you need something for the kids to watch this weekend, there are far worse choices than SpongeBob.

'Old Guy' (2025)

Genre: Action comedy

What's it about? Danny (Christoph Waltz) is a soon-to-be-retired hitman crippled by arthritis. He seemingly gets a chance at becoming a mentor when he's hired to train Wihlborg (Cooper Hoffman). But as he teaches the prodigy assassin, he starts to suspect his protégé is actually part of a plan to wipe out older killers and tie up loose ends.

Why you should watch it: While critics hated this movie, audiences loved "Old Guy." On Rotten Tomatoes, the Popcornmeter audience rating is 90%, which is massive. If you can handle the fact that this movie doesn't reinvent the wheel, the loaded cast should have you enjoying this movie, even if it doesn't ultimately become the next "Citizen Kane."

'The Score' (2001)

Genre: Heist thriller

What's it about? Nick Wells (Robert De Niro) is a safe cracker who is ready to retire with his girlfriend Diane (Angela Bassett) and run his jazz club in Montréal. But when Brian, revealed to really be aspiring master criminal Jack Teller (Edward Norton), comes to Nick with a plan to steal a priceless sceptre, Nick eventually agrees to join, but only if he's in total control.

Why you should watch it: Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, Marlon Brando and Angela Bassett. All in the same movie. That's 22 combined Oscar nominations in acting categories, with four wins (two for De Niro and two for Brando). You'd be hard-pressed to find a more loaded cast in any movie ever made.
