The Miami Dolphins weren’t the only people to suffer a bitter defeat in the frozen tundra of Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night.
The historically cold conditions at this weekend’s AFC wild-card game between the Dolphins and hosting Kansas City Chiefs weren’t just hard on the players and fans.
The beverages purchased at the game also met their match in the freezing air. A few spectators at Saturday night’s NFL playoff game saw their beers literally freeze in the air, completely undrinkable at worst and in slushee form at absolute best.
Considering how expensive a tall boy is at an NFL game, that’s a tough draw when you’re just trying to enjoy some football.

Whew, those beers are in tough shape.
We feel awful for the cleaning crew who is going to have to go through and pick up all the frozen drinks that get abandoned at Arrowhead this weekend.
We hope everyone just took their losses and picked up their beverages so the nice folks who clean up afterward didn’t have to deal with them.
