There’s still plenty of time left in the 2022 regular season, as Week 16 is set to kick off on Thursday, but the NFL has released the rosters for the 2023 Pro Bowl Games.
Three members of the Miami Dolphins are set to be representing their team – wide receiver Tyreek Hill, left tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Xavien Howard.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had been the leading vote-getter among all players by fans, with Hill finishing just behind him, but it appears the signal-caller isn’t getting in just yet.
Hill, so far, has been a big reason for Tagovailoa’s success, bringing in 109 receptions and for a single-season franchise record 1,529 yards and seven touchdowns. This Sunday, Hill could also set the team record for receptions, as he needs just four more.
Armstead, through injury, has been a consistent force protecting Tagovailoa’s front side.
The selection of Howard is a little confusing, considering he hasn’t played up to his own standard this season. He’s allowed more catches than he typically has, and he isn’t putting up his usual interception numbers.
The Pro Bowl Games will be held on February 5, 2023, at Allegiant Stadium. Players from each conference will compete in various skills competitions and a non-contact flag football game.
