CHANDIGARH/SHIMLA: A total of 267 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday in Haryana. Punjab recorded 20 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday taking the total count to 7,60,143. Himachal Pradesh reported eight new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. The state’s overall Covid-19 tally of 2,84,990 includes 2,80,772 recoveries, 4,117 deaths, and 82 active cases.
In Punjab, on Thursday, a total of 46,532 persons were vaccinated out of which 8,187 got their first dose and 38,345 got the second jab. A total of 3,962 persons were given precautionary doses during the day.
In Haryana, 34,607 persons were vaccinated on Thursday, of which 9,262 received their first dose, 14,355 second and 10,990 precautionary doses. With this, the total of doses administered in the state till date reached 4,31,97,338. tnn
