A recent strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region has resulted in at least 26 people being injured, according to a Ukrainian official. Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, revealed that among the injured, 10 individuals are currently hospitalized, with two women in serious condition. One woman sustained head injuries, while the other has a shrapnel wound to her abdomen.
The strike caused significant damage to an administrative building, as well as five apartment buildings and three vehicles in the area. Images shared by Lysak on Telegram depict a building with a partially collapsed roof and another with shattered windows, illustrating the extent of the destruction.
Additionally, Ukraine reported a separate “massive” overnight attack in Dnipropetrovsk, alleging that Russia fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) at the region. The escalation of violence in the region has raised concerns about the safety and security of civilians in the area.
