JAIPUR: Adding more facilities for passengers at the Jaipur international airport, a 24x7 cab service was launched on Wednesday. It will be available for both local traveling as well as to other destinations located within or outside the state.
Officials at the airport informed that the decision to start cab service has been taken to enhance the transportation facility for the passengers. “So far there was only one prepaid cab counter at the airport but now we have two operators for the transport services. One can avail the new services for local commuting and sightseeing or to any other destination within or outside the state,” said a senior airport official.
Now passengers can directly avail taxis to various places like Delhi, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Udaipur from the airport itself, which will save their time, he added.
Such 24x7 cab service is already functional at prominent airports of India including Delhi, Bengaluru and Raipur and offers a wide range of sedan and SUV vehicles.
Sources at the airport informed that the new cab service is part of more than 50 retail and service outlet counters that will be started at the airport in the next two months.
