MEERUT: Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal on Monday wrote a letter to UP CM Yogi Adityanath, seeking "urgent action" in a gang-rape and murder case involving a 13-year-old girl that happened 24 days ago in Bulandshahr. "Her mother has been running from pillar to post to get an FIR registered but to no avail," she said.
Maliwal met the parents of the victim, who died during treatment in a hospital in May. The post-mortem report of the girl, accessed by TOI, revealed internal ruptures.
