Floods are still afflicting 21 provinces - mostly in the Northeast and the Central Plain - but the water is receding, according to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.
The department said on Wednesday that 401,000 people in 90 districts of the 21 provinces are still affected.
The 21 provinces are:
Ang Thong - in Chaiyo, Muang, Pa Mok, Pho Thong, Sawaengha and Wiset Chai Chan districts
Ayutthaya - in Ban Phraek, Bang Ban, Bang Pahan, Bang Pa-in, Bang Sa-ai, Bang Sai, Maha Rat, Nakhon Luang, Phak Hai, Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya, Sena and Uthai
Chai Nat - in Manorom, Muang, Sapphaya and Wat Sing
Kalasin - in Kamalasai and Khong Chai
Khon Kaen - in Chonnabot, Muang, Nam Phong, Nong Na Kham and Nong Rua
Lop Buri - in Ban Mi and Muang
Maha Sarakham - in Chiang Yuen, Kantharawichai, Kosum Phisai and Muang
Nakhon Nayok - in Ongkharak
Nakhon Pathom - in Bang Len, Buddha Monthon, Don Tum, Kamphaeng Saen, Muang, Nakhon Chaisi and Sam Phran
Nakhon Sawan - in Chumsaeng, Kao Lieo, Krok Phra, Muang and Phayuha Khiri
