Donald Trump’s inauguration yesterday may have been completely overwhelming, but at least for every viscerally confronting day in modern history, we always have a steady stream of memes to keep us going.
To run you through a few of things that happened, just so you have the full context: newly-minted government department head Elon Musk gave a salute that resembled the Nazi Sieg Heil, Donald Trump reversed a series of progressive policies and enacted a bunch of regressive ones (leaving the Paris Agreement, leaving the World Health Organisation, revoking protections for transgender people in prisons), Melania Trump dressed like a comic book villain and Barron Trump was looking extra tall.
