Benjamin Nygren has refused to fully commit his future to Celtic following Sweden’s World Cup exit, admitting he cannot yet say where he will be playing next season.
The attacker, who enjoyed a strong debut campaign in Glasgow, was asked directly whether he expects to remain at Parkhead and offered a brief but eye-catching response.
Speaking to Göteborgs-Posten after Sweden’s elimination, Nygren stopped short of suggesting he wants to leave but made clear he still harbours ambitions beyond his current situation. "We'll see," he said.

“I have my dreams and goals that I fight for every day and that I have done since I was young,” he said. “I still have them, and that is to play at the highest possible level.
“But when that happens, I can’t answer right now.”
Nygren is expected to remain in the United States for a short period before heading on holiday, with his comments likely to spark speculation despite there being no indication of an imminent exit.
He scored 21 goals in all competitions for Celtic last season, assisting nine times under the management of Brendan Rodgers, Wilfried Nancy, and Martin O'Neill.
