2027 is shaping up to be one of the busiest for video games ever, simply because everyone is so scared of GTA 6 that they’re moving their releases to months before or after Rockstar’s next big blockbuster.
Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, an RTS set in the film version of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire universe, has officially been delayed to 2027 so the developers could ensure the game meets its targeted quality. According to Eurogamer, this delay will enable the studio to have “the time needed to continue building towards that goal and ensure that the game reaches the high level of quality we are aiming for.”
