The PGA Tour goes international this week for the national open of Mexico, officially the Mexico Open at Vidanta.
Coming off the signature event Genesis Invitational and the West Coast swing, and immediately before the start of the Florida swing and another signature event in two weeks at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Mexico Open doesn't have the most star-studded field of the season.
Infact, if you scan down the Official World Golf Ranking your finger will go down to No. 24 to see someone in the field: defending champion Tony Finau. The only other players in the top 40 this week are Nicolai Hojgaard (No. 34) and Emiliano Grillo (No. 40).
