Scottie Scheffler proved once again that he's the best player in the world, an unbreakable force and—one more time—a worthy Masters champion. For his win, Scheffler collects a trophy replica of Augusta's clubhouse, a green jacket and a $3.6 million check.
The Masters announced its 2024 purse on Saturday and it was the biggest pool in 88 editions: $20 million. Scheffler banked a lot of green to pair with the green jacket. Ludvig Aberg, playing in his first major tournament, earned $2.16 million for his runner-up finish. Max Homa, Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa crack the million-dollar mark for sharing third place.
