We haven’t officially hit the spooky date that is the 31st of October and celebrities dropping their witchin’ ghoulish looks to celebrate the Halloween festivities. So get in, besties. We’re doing some costume judging!
One of the first celebs to bust out their spooky look for 2024 is Lizzo, who dressed up as her version of Ozempic straight from that hilarious South Park episode.
To give you a quick recap on what went down between the singer and the controversial show, Lizzo was referenced in an episode titled “The End Of Obesity”.
With that kind of episode name, you’d think the showrunners were gonna rip her to shreds but nope. Instead, Lizzo’s name was used for a made-up drug where people didn’t care about their weight — which was an obvious jab to real-life weight-managing medications like Ozempic and Mounjarao.
When the episode first dropped, Lizzo did a blind reaction to the cheeky reference and it was quite wholesome.
“I’m really that bitch and I tell yall how to not give a fuck and I’m going to keep telling you how to not give a fuck,” she said, ending the video by singing; “Oh, oh, oh, Lizzoooo”.
Alongside her Halloween costume reveal, Lizzo shared a second video where she twerked alongside South Park‘s Eric Cartman to Rosé and Bruno Mars‘ hit “APT.”
“It’s that time of year where I feed y’all so ridiculously and you’re so very welcome baby,” she wrote.
Second on the list is the Queen of Genovia, Anne Hathaway, who served up a “Boo York City” look.
I’m not gonna lie to you, I can’t tell if she’s a ghost or a skull… or maybe even a zombie. But I am impressed with how she masked her identity.
The Boo York City Baddie looks nothing like the Anne Hathaway we all know and love. Maybe it’s a way for her to get around the city without being swarmed.
Regardless, it’s spooky and smart!
Selena Gomez has seemingly gone back to her Disney roots by dressing up as Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Her beau Benny Blanco has also joined in the fun, looking like a “handsome Squidward” version of the Mad Hatter.
IDK, there’s just something about Benny Blanco’s eyes that is making me uneasy. Imma give that rabbit hole a miss.
Game Of Thrones icon Sophie Turner turned up the heat with her Matrix-inspired get-up.
Sporting a pair of black shades, a latex long-sleeve body suit and gloves, the actor was truly channelling her inner Carrie-Anne Moss.
“Red or blue pill,” the actor wrote alongside a Halloween photo dump.
Don’t tell Sophie, but I’m definitely stealing this outfit idea for next year OR the next rave…
Multitalented queen Courtney Act looked recognisable after they swapped out their glitz and glam for a blonde mullet and an AFL kit.
For Halloween 2024, Courtney dressed up as AFL gun Bailey Smith — or as they put it, the only AFL player gay men know.
Courtney’s sporty get-up had Aussies go wild across the internet, with many fans and fellow celebs admiring their artistry.
Bailey himself commented on Courtney’s post, reminding them that they now sport a new jersey.
“Hahahahaha love this. New colours now tho 😘,” the footy player wrote.
Ugh, as Hannah Montanna once sang, Courtney truly has the best of both worlds.
Ice Spice was another celeb who completely transformed their iconic look. Trading in her signature curls for an orange bob, the “Deli” rapper busted out a Leeloo costume with the beloved multipass prop.
I think it’s the blue contacts that took me out!
Agent of chaos North West dressed as fellow agent of chaos Tyler the Creator — specifically his outfit from the beloved “EARFQUAKE” music video.
And, in a dramatic costume change only fit for a Kardashian, Northie revealed a HER costume, inspired by her stellar performance at this year’s Super Bowl with Usher. How stinking cute!
Girl group Katseye stunned girlies across the globe after they came out with a magical Winx Club group costume!
If you’re not familiar with the “Touch” singers, Megan is dressed as Bloom, Sophia is dressed as Musa, Manon is Flora, Lara is Aisha, Daniela is Stella and Yoonchae is Techna.
Feast your eyes below:
Queen of the otaku‘s Megan Thee Stallion came through with two looks and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she dropped a third one or more later this week.
The first costume the “Girls In The Hood” rapper dropped was her version of Teen Titans superhero Starfire, which she absolutely slayed. For Halloween round two, the artist showed her love for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by dawning a Trish Una cosplay.
OFC she bodied both looks!
Celebrity power couple Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin pulled out the dramatics with their Phantom of the Opera costumes.
OFC, Palvin dressed as the beautiful Christine and the actor was her other half as the Phantom himself.
*Sigh* BRB, jumping on the apps to find my other half… Just for Halloween.
Totally serious journalist and Chicken Shop Date queen Amelia Dimoldenberg lowkey won Halloween — alongside Courtney Act and Lizzo — by dressing up as everyone’s secretary, Roz from Monsters, Inc.
She’s always watching. For Andrew Garfield… I’M KIDDING. Please don’t come for me.
Sabrina Carpenter also tapped into her Disney roots by busting out a Tinker Bell outfit during her Short ‘n’ Sweet concert in Dallas, Texas.

Halle Berry‘s on-screen characters have seemingly become a popular Halloween costume choice for her fellow A-listers.
Grammy-winning artist Tyla dressed up as Berry’s Sharon Stone character from the campy AF The Flinstones and The Little Mermaid‘s Halle Bailey dressed up as Jinx from Berry’s James Bond flick, Die Another Day.
Can we please take a moment to appreciate these lewks!
Everyone’s favourite OG Try Guy Eugene Lee Yang headed into the Uncanny Valley with his Other Mother costume.
From the black bob to the button eyes, Yang truly embodied the Coraline character to the point where I feel like my laptop screen is a portal to otherside… Yep that’s enough scary costumes for me tonight!
King of the plotwists M. Night Shyamalan surprised punters by dressing up as the Joker.
Of course, in nurse gear — which is lowkey the only acceptable Joker.
So far, these are all the celebrity costumes that have been revealed for 2024. But be sure to keep us bookmarked because we’re catching every single celeb costume on this page as they drop!
However, if you’re looking for some Halloween costume inspo, we’ve got a cheeky list guided by Google trends!
