Although many fans are still suffering from a Ryder Cup hangover, the PGA Tour returns to action this week in Jackson, Mississippi, for the Sanderson Farms Championship at The Country Club of Jackson.
The field is, well, let’s say not the strongest, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try to win a little cash over the weekend.
European Ryder Cupper Ludvig Aberg will be teeing it up come Thursday, as will Emiliano Grillo, Keith Mitchell, Beau Hossler and Davis Riley.
One of the betting favorites is Eric Cole, who finished solo fourth in his last start at the Fortinet Championship in Napa.

Beau Hossler (30/1)
Hossler has found his groove over his last six starts. He’s made the weekend five times — MC at the Wyndham Championship — and has finished inside the top 30 in all five made cuts including a T-30 performance at the Fortinet Championship.
Back in 2017, Hossler finished 10th at The CC of Jackson. More recently, he finished 57th in 2020.
Emiliano Grillo (25/1)
Grillo captured his second career Tour win earlier this season at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and his game has been pretty good since. In his last five starts, his worst finish is T-31 at the BMW Championship and he’s grabbed three top-20s during that span.
Grillo has made the weekend in all four of his appearances at the Sanderson Farms and finished T-5 last year.
S.H. Kim (30/1)
The last time Kim teed it up, he finished solo second at the Fortinet Championship. Before missing the cut at the Wyndham Championship, Kim tied for 27th at the 3M Open.
At last year’s Sanderson Farms Championship, Kim finished T-13. This week is the perfect opportunity for Kim to earn his first Tour win in a weaker field.
Davis Riley (40/1)
It’s been a disappointing year for Riley, who’s finished inside the top-10 twice in 30 starts. However, a week of home cooking might solve all his problems.
Riley grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, a town less than a two-hour drive from The Country Club of Jackson. At last year’s Sanderson Farms, Riley tied for 19th.
