2023 RBC Heritage odds: 3 sleeper picks to win including Justin Rose (75/1)

After the year’s first major, the PGA Tour is headed to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for yet another designated event. The RBC Heritage is boasting one of the best —if not the best — fields it’s ever had.

World No. 1 and green jacket-wearing Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, defending champion Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and more are all set to tee it up come Thursday morning.

The third-ranked player in the world, Rory McIlroy, withdrew from the field on Monday. He missed the cut at the Masters last week.

Here are three sleepers to keep an eye on at Harbour Town, starting with a player who has already won on Tour this season.

Last three starts: T-16 (Masters), T-36 (Valspar Championship) and T-6 (Players)

Rose finished 14th in 2020 at Harbour Town. On a golf course that demands accuracy off the tee, the Englishman is 13th on Tour this season in driving accuracy (66.54 percent).

J.T. Poston (65/1)

Last three starts: T-34 (Masters), T-9 (WGC-Dell Match Play) and T-10 (Valspar Championship)

Outside of a missed cut in 2021, Poston has played great golf around Harbour Town the last several years. He finished sixth in 2019, eighth in 2020 and third in 2022.

Russell Henley (45/1)

Last three starts: T-4 (Masters), T-17 (WGC-Dell Match Play), and T-19 (Players Championship)

It’s been feast or famine for the 33-year-old at the RBC Heritage. Henley has missed the cut five times in nine appearances, including three in the last four years. However, when he’s made the weekend he hasn’t finished outside the top 30. Henley grabbed ninth in 2021.
