The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles will continue their long-standing rivalry in 2023 and one of their two matchups will come on Christmas Day.
It was announced on Thursday that the two teams with square off at Lincoln Financial Field — near the very place Eagles fans once pelted Santa Claus with snowballs — on Monday, December 25.

The game will be televised on FOX with kickoff scheduled for 4:30 ET.
It’s unlikely that Giants co-owner John Mara is thrilled about this game. He prefers to avoid playing on holidays, taking into account the team’s fans and how it impacts their traditions.
“At some point, can we please give some consideration to the people who are coming to the games?” Mara griped back in March.
But money drives the NFL and a late afternoon game between the Giants and Eagles on Christmas is certain to draw a record-setting number of viewers.
For one team, Christmas will be spoiled. For the other, a wonderful holiday gift will be delivered. Who ultimately plays the role of the Grinch?
