2022 PFL 6 results: Ray Cooper III gets eliminated from playoff contention, destroys Brett Cooper in 24 seconds anyway

Brett Cooper Ray Cooper Ray Cooper III PFL PFL 6 Dilano Taylor Magomed Magomedkerimov

Ray Cooper III didn’t do enough to earn a slot in the 2022 PFL playoffs, but he sure went out with a bang in his final regular season appearance.

At 2022 PFL 6, which took place Friday at Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Cooper III (25-8-1) tore through opponent Brett Cooper (28-17) in just 24 seconds.

On the bubble of the playoffs at the start of the event, Cooper would’ve needed six points to clinch a playoff spot. However, just minutes before his scheduled cage-walk, Cooper had his postseason hopes spoiled when Magomed Magomedkerimov picked up six points in a first-round TKO of Dilano Taylor.
