The Minnesota Vikings are building depth on the offensive front by selecting Illinois offensive tackle Vederian Lowe with the No. 184 overall pick.
With tackles Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill locked in as starers, the hope here is that Lowe can either develop into a backup or possibly get kicked to guard to add more competition at a troubled spot.
