It’s time to get awkward at Wentworth.
Although PGA Tour stars like Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Matt Fitzpatrick litter the field for this week’s BMW PGA Championship on the DP World Tour, LIV Golf members will also tee it up, including Patrick Reed, Abraham Ancer and Taylor Gooch.
In all, nearly 20 members of the Saudi-backed league are in Surrey, England.
“It’s going to be odd seeing certain people at Wentworth. That is going to be a bit weird, and obviously, it’s a little bit disappointing. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens,” Fitzpatrick said at the Tour Championship.
According to a report by ESPN, LIV players have been asked to not wear LIV logos during competition.
Let’s dive in.

Shane Lowry
Shane Lowry has been due for a win all year long. He fell just short at the Honda Classic as the skies opened when he stepped to the 18th tee, and he also collected two T-3 finishes at the Masters and RBC Heritage.
He was the first man out of the Tour Championship last month but finished T-12 at the BMW Championship the week before.
The Irishman has finished T-17 or better the last three BMW PGAs.

Adam Scott
Adam Scott entered the FedEx Cup playoffs outside the top 80 in the FEC standings but rattled off back-to-back T-5 finishes at the FedEx Cup St. Jude and BMW Championship.
Last year at Wentworth, Scott tied for 14th.

Tommy Fleetwood
We haven’t seen Tommy Fleetwood since the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews — where he finished T-4. He also finished T-4 the week before at the Scottish Open.
He’s finished T-12 and T-13 at the last two BMW PGA Championships.
