2022 Billboard Music Awards: Megan Fox, Doja Cat and Kylie Jenner lead the best dressed guests

One thing was clear at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards: sexy is back as the red carpet staple.

Leading the pack of skantily-clad ceremony-goers on Sunday night was Megan Fox. Queen of sensual style, Fox swapped her viral naked, rhinestone VMA dress for a plunging black strapless frock by London-based designer David Koma. It came with statement, flower diamanté opera gloves because, why not?

Machine Gun Kelly, her fiancée and equal in outlandish dressing, was particularly dazzling in a rhinestone, skin tight top and silver spiked cropped blazer and trousers. The pièce de résistance, however, was his $30,000 manicure, which saw his nails painted black with 10 carats of diamonds. Shine bright!

Kylie Jenner made an appearance in a skin tight, ‘naked’ dress from Balmain with a morphed body trompe l’oeil print. The long sleeve look was first seen on the AW22 catwalk in March – but the attention did not fall on the beuaty mogul last night.

By her side, boyfriend Travis Scott made his first red carpet appearance, and TV performance, since his Astroworld concert killed 10 people in November 2021. He appeared to want to play this debut down, in a plain black suit with a white t-shirt and Nike trainers. The pair also brought daughter Stormi, who wore an asymmetric sleeve white dress by Rick Owens.

Megan Thee Stallion turned heads in her ombré, black and beige draped mini dress. The cut-out frock, which had glass elements and a floor length train was designed by Casey Cadwallader at Mugler. He also dressed her in jumpsuit for a performance during the ceremony. Arrving with Megan on the carpet was Cara Delevingne, who took the opposite route and dressed down in a black strappy top, slacks, and military boots.

Doja Cat (Getty Images for MRC)

This low-key approach was no match for Doja Cat, who committed to the extravagant in a Schiaparelli couture gown, which was cut just below the breasts with two dramatic spikes. Doja swerved a free the nipple look, which was how it was shown on the AW22 catwalk, by adding gold nipple pasties to match her gild, Saturn-shape bag.

Later in the evening, the nipple covers nicely matched the four awards she carried home.
