Man killed, 13-year-old boy wounded in West Garfield Park shooting

Two gunmen fatally shot a man and wounded a teen boy Thursday night on the West Side. No one is in custody.

A man was killed and a boy was hospitalized after a shooting in West Garfield Park Thursday night, according to Chicago police.

Two men fired shots at 6:50 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Adams Street, hitting a 49-year-old man on the sidewalk and a 13-year-old boy in a car, police said. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he later died.

The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody.
