More than 2,500 low-income group (LIG) flats offered by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in Narela were booked within two hours of online bookings opening on October 20. Under the Awaas Nivesh Yojana 2026, the authority offered 2,516 flats at a 25% discount, with tentative prices starting at Rs 14.95 lakh.
The bookings opened at noon on Tuesday on a first-come, first-served basis. The flats are located in Pockets 3 and 6 of Sectors G2-G6 in Narela. According to a TOI report, the scheme attracted more than 2,500 bookings within the first two hours, highlighting the response to the discounted housing offer.
