NEW DELHI: Late charge by Deepak Hooda (41 not out off 23) and Axar Patel (31 not out off 20), who shared an unbeaten 68-run stand off 38 balls for the sixth wicket, guided India to 162/5 in the first T20I at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.
India found themselves in a spot of bother after they were reduced to 94 for five. Lankan spinners gave India a hard time in the middle before Hooda and Axar took the hosts to a decent total.
