According to the complaint filed with the police, the student, who is originally from Tamil Nadu, is currently staying in a paying guest (PG) accommodation near Yelahanka. She told investigators that she had been invited to a party at a villa in Jakkur, close to Yelahanka, on Saturday night.
In her statement, the student said the incident took place around midnight. She alleged that she was given a substance without her knowledge or consent during the gathering and was subsequently drugged. She claimed that a pink tablet was administered to her, after which she lost consciousness.
The student further alleged that while she was unconscious, she was sexually assaulted by two men identified as Dixin and Nikhil, one of whom she described as a friend. She also stated that the accused threatened her with consequences if she reported the incident, which initially led her to remain silent.
Following her complaint, police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter. Authorities are currently examining the allegations and gathering evidence as part of the ongoing probe.
