Neil Jordan's Michael Collins biopic movie will be screened in 19 Omniplex cinemas across the country early next month as part of a programme of events to mark the centenary of the revolutionary leader's death in 1922.
Fine Gael has teamed up with the Omniplex Cinema Group to host the screenings which will take place on September 6. The movie will be screened at 7pm at each of the 19 cinemas on that evening.
It’s 26 years since the release of ‘Michael Collins’ the movie, starring Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, Julia Roberts and Aidan Quinn. For many people, this will be the first opportunity they've had to see it on the big screen.

Tickets are available from Monday, 22 nd August, for €6, through Eventbrite.
Tickets will not be available from Omniplex.
