Skincare lovers are gushing about a £19 serum that rivals a costly £165 version from cult favourite SkinCeuticals.
Nip + Fab's more budget friendly option is its Vitamin C Fix Concentrate Extreme 15%, which is said to be "very similar" to SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Antioxidant Vitamin C Serum.
Vitamin C is the main ingredient in both products, an ingredient used to target signs of ageing, fade sun damage, and improve skin tone. The most obvious difference comes down to price - Nip + Fab's serum is on sale for £18.95 at Boots - £144 cheaper than the higher end brand - but only for some shoppers.
The bottle normally costs £24.95, but Boots Advantage card holders can snag it for £18.95 online. The serum is also on sale on Nip + Fab's website for £20.95 where shoppers can get a free SPF on orders over £40, reports The Mirror.
For its the luxury price tag, the SkinCeuticals serum promises to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness with "powerful" antioxidants.
Like SkinCeuticals, Nip + Fab serum is said to protect the skin from free radicals, but with a focus on brightening and evening skin tone.
It comes as the new formula of the Nip + Fab's Vitamin C Fix Concentrate Extreme 15% was recently released with a new and improved formula.
Nip + FAB describes the updated version as such: "The brand-new vitamin C complex contains a synergistic, potent blend of three stabilised forms of vitamin C, each with individual benefits. It is supported by other key ingredients such as ferulic acid to boost the effectiveness of the vitamin C, along with allantoin and niacinamide to replenish the skin barrier."
Shoppers who have reviewed the cheaper vit C as some have said it makes their skin look "10 years younger" and gives a dewy finish, while others say they "don't need makeup" after using it.
Interestingly, beauty fans say it smells like orange juice which has divided opinion.
One shopper wrote: "When buying a new beauty product I remain so sceptical, but this, blown away. In 5 days my face was plump, lighter and tighter. In 2 weeks it's unrecognisable, I'm not entirely fond of the smell but I put my L'Oréal hydrogel aloe over it and it's lovely together."
"Shooketh. A must-have product for all women. I'm 35 and my skin now looks 10 years younger. My laugh lines and [jowls] have tightened so much. Expected little, got a lot!"
Another said: "This product is just amazing. On my second bottle and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone who wants their skin to glow, look even and soooo healthy. I don’t even feel the need to wear make-up these days. Nip and Fab is just the ‘Queen’ of face care xxx"
