17 Y.O. Teenager Stabbed To Death Behind School In Sydney’s North-West

A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed to death behind a school in Sydney’s north-west.

Multiple emergency response teams, including a CareFlight helicopter, rushed to a park behind Ironbark Public School in Rouse Hill on Monday afternoon, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, following reports of an attack just after 5pm.

A teenager, who was believed to have been stabbed in the leg, was treated at the scene by emergency services, but he couldn’t be saved, 9News reports.

It’s understood that the victim and the alleged attackers are not students of the Rouse Hill school, per 9News.

Police said it has been notified of two individuals — who are believed to be teenagers — who were spotted leaving the scene, with one of them believed to be wearing a school uniform.

Member for Greenway Michelle Rowland said she was “deeply saddened” by the fatal attack and that “there is no place in our community for these acts of senseless violence”.

“My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the young boy’s family during this extremely difficult time,” Rowland wrote in a Facebook post.

“There is no place in our community for these acts of senseless violence, and I know this news will be particularly distressing for local families.

“May he rest in peace.”
