- Star Meat Delivery Inc. of Lucama, North Carolina , is recalling approximately 167,639 pounds of raw pork, beef, and goat products that bear the fake USDA inspection label “EST. 1363.”
- The affected items weren’t inspected by federal authorities, raising alarm that they may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that put Americans’ health and safety at risk.
- The meat was produced prior to September 22, 2026, packed under the A&D Foods label, and shipped to a distributor in Georgia for further nationwide distribution to retail stores and restaurants, according to a USDA news release listing the products.
- The inspection violation was identified during routine Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) surveillance, and there have been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse health effects linked to the recalled products so far.
- The FSIS says the products were vacuum-sealed and packed into cardboard boxes for shipment. Individual consumer packages may not bear the “EST. 1363” labeling as retail stores may have applied their own stickers with pricing and safe handling instructions.
