Ahead of the Queen ’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, new data reveals the areas that have seen the highest price growth over the last 10 years.
Margate in Kent tops the list, with average asking prices for homes have more than doubled (+107%) from £148,763 to £308,508 – an increase of more than £150,000, according to Rightmove analysis.
Brislington, an area within the city of Bristol, is the second jubilee price hotspot, with prices rising 104% from £166,192 to £338,800.
