More than 150 women at Aintree’s famous Grand National Festival are wearing outfits created by one Liverpool designer.
Francesca Kearns, a Liverpool-based fashion designer, has made ‘more than 150’ outfits for the Grand National weekend. She runs Francesca Couture, an online fashion company specialising in ‘bold and beautiful’ designs that ‘stand out from the crowd’.
The business has a showroom just outside Liverpool city centre and designs by Francesca Couture have recently been spotted on Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Tanya Bardsley and her daughter Gabriella.
Francesca Kearns said: “I am so excited to see all of the gorgeous girls looking glamorous in my designs this weekend. It’s been a tough couple of years for everyone so to see so many people making the effort to get dressed up and have a good time is amazing.
“This is my 13th year dressing Liverpool’s most glamorous girls and I’m so proud to say that it’s still going strong.
Francesca also shared some of the things she had in mind when creating the Aintree outfits - and added that her clients love to ‘stand out’. She said: “This year we have gone really bold with the colours, fabrics and designs.
“Feathers, frills, huge bows and beautiful fabrics are what the ladies have been drawn to. I think my clients really want to stand out this year, but for all the right reasons of course.”
