Liverpool Under-18s progressed to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup after beating Bournemouth 2-1 at Vitality Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
With Stefan Bajcetic, Bobby Clark and Ben Doak all absent for the young Reds due to their involvement in Jurgen Klopp's squad to take on Manchester City, a young side was fielded on the south coast.
Manager Marc Bridge-Wilkinson was also without topscorer Lewis Koumas while Trent Kone-Doherty also missing in the Youth Cup.

A debut was given to 15-year-old Kareem Ahmed at the half-time break and the schoolboy doubled Liverpool's lead after Jayden Danns had fired the Reds in the lead late in the first half.
Finn Tonks scored a consolation goal for the Cherries on the 95th minute, but Liverpool were able to see the game out and will face a fourth round away clash at Port Vale in the fourth round.
